CHILDREN BIRTHDAY PARTIES – Schedule and Terms & Conditions
PIT WALK
The Birthday party will be met at the main turnstiles upon arrival by a club official and will first be taken on a ‘Pit Walk.’
This is where we take the children around to where the riders and mechanics prepare their bikes on a personally guided tour for a look ‘behind the scenes.’ Here they will have a chance to chat with the riders and ask any questions they may have and to have photos taken with them, so make sure you bring your cameras!
Some of the riders are foreign so it is a good chance for the children to get to hear the different accents.
The party will then get taken for a walk out on track itself and, if time permits, have a look in the referees box and maybe even get to chat to the referee.
To be able to do the above tour all children must arrive no later than 6pm.
BIRTHDAY TEA
After the track walk the birthday boy/girl will be allowed to go into the club shop where he/she can choose an item up to the value of £5, after which the birthday tea will be served in the clubhouse, The Oaktree, which is adjacent to the track.
The Birthday Party Group will have their own specially reserved table in the Oaktree Clubhouse, which is adjacent to the track itself, where they can choose their ‘Birthday Tea' from the menu below:
. Burger and Chips
. Chicken Nuggets and Chips
. Sausage and Chips
. Vegetarian Burger & Chips
. Jacket Potato – with various fillings (advised on the day)
(A birthday cake can be supplied if desired, please ask when booking for choice of flavours and cost).
Once the birthday tea has been completed the birthday boy/girl can choose one of their fiends to accompany them on the parade truck with the riders prior to the start of the actual meeting. This normally takes place about 7.20pm and is weather dependant and usually takes about 5 minutes and is one complete circuit of the track.
BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
All bookings must be made and paid for in full with the party booking form completed no later than 2 weeks prior to the party date chosen (all meeting dates can be found on our website www.somersetrebels.co).
Any adults not included on the booking form once received cannot be added at a later date at the discount price. These will then have to pay at the turnstiles the full admission price.
No credits or refunds are given unless the meeting is cancelled in full prior to commencement due to the weather or any other unforeseen factors.
